1. Acceptance

By accessing or using the Tao Climate platforms — including Fly (fly.taoclimate.com), EarthOS, AirOS, FuelOS, Scope, and Supplier — operated by Tao Climate ("we", "us"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you disagree, please stop using the platforms.

2. Description of Service

Tao Climate operates a suite of climate intelligence tools. Fly is a flight CO2 calculator that also allows users to support verified carbon removal for their flights. EarthOS and AirOS are information platforms providing data-driven insights on carbon emissions, aviation, and climate. Data is sourced from publicly available scientific and industry datasets (IPCC, ICAO, IATA, IEA, GCP). We make no guarantee of real-time accuracy.

3. Carbon Removal Purchases (Fly)

When you purchase carbon removal through Fly, you are paying for verified CO2 removal services. Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. All purchases are final unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law. Carbon removal is matched to your flight and confirmed via email.

Tao Climate does not guarantee any specific environmental outcome beyond what is stated at the time of purchase. CO2 removal calculations are based on ICAO fuel-burn methodology and industry-standard emission factors.

4. Permitted Use

• You may use the platforms for personal, educational, and non-commercial research.
• You may not scrape, reproduce, or redistribute substantial portions of our data or visualisations without written permission.
• You may not attempt to circumvent any technical measures or interfere with the operation of the platforms.

5. Intellectual Property

All platform code, design, and original content is the intellectual property of Tao Climate. Underlying scientific data is sourced from public datasets and remains under its respective licences.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The platforms are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the data presented. Nothing on these platforms constitutes financial, legal, or investment advice.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Tao Climate shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platforms.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the jurisdiction in which Tao Climate is incorporated.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platforms after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
